A new family Austin saloon developed after half a million miles of local testing, has been announced by the British Motor Corporation of Australia. Specially deigned for Australian conditions, the car - the Austin Lancer series II - is built almost entirely of Australian materials and is a longer, fin styled and mechanically advanced version of the original lancer announced early last year.
