Tubby info on our 34,The car is a by aMr John Douglas of Oamaru in New Zealand,he kept the car until 7th feb 1936 before selling it to William Pringle of Milton ,he kept the car untill 26th sept 1940,when Cyril Howe purchased it,keeping it till the 2nd june 1950 before selling it to Georgina Porter, on 27th july 1962,Georgina Porter sold the car to a relative Alexander Porter who used the car till 7th may 1964, when Barry Gardener purchased it,then sold it to Brian Hope no 12th april 1965, the mileage at this time was 56611.Barry Gardener sold the car to Ian Hislop in19th feb 1969 mileage at this time is 76258.George Elliot bought the car on 2nd sep 1969.he used the car for his honeymoon and then for every day trans before laying it up in1974 intending to restore it.he restored another ford coupe first and admitted latter that this was a bigger job than first thought and he should have done the honeymoon car first,he only started to strip the car then sold it to John Stanley who completly stripped the car and did a complete restoration finishing in 2001. John Stanley had an accident in a racing car and damaged his spine ,he could no longer drive the car so put the car up for sale, the mileage at this point was 84569,Carol and I purchased the car from him in New Zealand and had it shipped over to Qld in october 2002.After a small drama at the rego office we had it registered and ready to use,we have done a few short trips locally and so far the car has exceeded our expectations. there is only one problem and that is keeping it clean,

The car is different to our 1933 ford to drive, the main difference is the 33 has a 4.11-1 axle and the 34 has a 3.54-1ratio this makes highway driving easier as engine rpms are lower in the 34.
