Series 1 4.2 litre XJ6 Jaguar Series 1 4.2 litre XJ6 is also called XJ6 and XJ12 is using a straight 6-cylinder Jaguar version of the renowned engine XK. This was replaced by most of Jaguar's saloons. In 1960, the unit model was expanded and was separated into 4 ranges. Daimler brand marketed the Daimler sovereign model, which was an upmarketed version of the Jaguar model. |

In 1968, the XJ6 was introduced on the television show advertisements where Sir William was featured. The series 1 4.2 litre XJ6 Jaguar was produced between 1968 and 1973. Around 82, 126 units were produced within the said years. The predecessor of this model type is an S - Type Jaguar. The units have different engine type from 2.8 Litre XKI6, 5.3 Litre V12 Jaguar, and 4.2 Litre XKI6 engines. |
