Series 1 4.2 litre XJ6 Jaguar

Series 1 4.2 litre XJ6 is also called XJ6 and XJ12 is using a straight 6-cylinder Jaguar version of the renowned engine XK. This was replaced by most of Jaguar's saloons. In 1960, the unit model was expanded and was separated into 4 ranges. Daimler brand marketed the Daimler sovereign model, which was an upmarketed version of the Jaguar model.

In 1968, the XJ6 was introduced on the television show advertisements where Sir William was featured. The series 1 4.2 litre XJ6 Jaguar was produced between 1968 and 1973. Around 82, 126 units were produced within the said years. The predecessor of this model type is an S - Type Jaguar. The units have different engine type from 2.8 Litre XKI6, 5.3 Litre V12 Jaguar, and 4.2 Litre XKI6 engines.
