1957 ford skyliner - for sale - retractable hardtop that is in need of a total restoration. The car was completely disassembled when I purchased it several years ago, and remains in about the same condition jn as it was. The block and heads were done prior to my purchase, but never assembled. It is a 312 thunderbird special, and all original engine parts i.e. crank, pistons, manifolds, and etc. were provided. The transmission was also
rebuilt prior to my purchase but never reinstalled into the car. The car is originally from Arizona and virtually rust free. The frame and body are in great condition for a car that is 53 years old. Other than being completely disassembled this is a complete classic car. Of the 25,000 or so that were manufactured this is one of the 10% that is said to be remaining. This car has been sitting on a lift in my garage for the last several years, and other that having installed new upper and lower ball joints, and the restoration ! of about half of the frame, it is in about the same condition that it was in when I purchased it. I purchased the car from pacificnwclassics and have about $6,500 invested. This has turned out to be more of a project than I could handle and I would love to see it restored into the classic that it can be. I am open to all resonable offers.
