The Oliver Crawler Tractor is one of the tractors produced by the Oliver Corporation. This was after the Oliver Corporation merged with a company called the Cleveland Tractor Company (or Clectrac). The company started producing the track-type tractors (the Crawlers) in 1939 and they halted operations in 1965. This particular tractor was used as a model for other popular tractors at the item, including the Fowler Crawler. A crawler is actually a type of tractor that runs on tracks and works best on soft ground and larger contact areas. Along with the Fowler Crawler, the Oliver Crawler Tractor can actually be considered as among the pioneers of this type of tractor.
